TEAM TOBY is run by the Cartwright family in Wigan. They aim to use their experiences of to help raise awareness of Myotonic Dystrophy, as well as funds for support and research. Son. Toby was born in August 2023 and was diagnosed with CDM at just 3 weeks old, subsequently mum Becky was diagnosed with DM1 a few months later.

Toby is the happiest little boy who faces every challenge in his own way, with his adorable smile and a cheeky laugh. He is not defined by his condition and instead makes his own rules and way in life. He is super determined, happy and full of positivity and strength.
